In Sunday's race, after being run wide and off the track, Solly battled through for the P21 spot. he improved Saturday's best lap time by 3 seconds! His race pace Sunday was 6.5 seconds closer to the leader than on Saturday's race! This race occurred almost exactly 2 years from when he began to ride road motorbikes.
“I am extremely happy for my first Motoamerica race as a professional rider! I had no expectations for the weekend, only to learn and improve every time I get on the track! I could not be more grateful to my family, mechanics and all the sponsors and people who made it possible! I had my best weekend of motorcycle racing in my life! Thank you very much to all of my supporters! -Solly Mervis 25’
